"You’ve got to have a problem that you want to solve; a wrong that you want to right."

Empathy, Observation, Insights

Design Thinkers need to acquire a sense of the feelings and emotions invovled in the context of a problem in order to be able to accurately pin-point the key areas their solutions would need to address. Our workshop encourages participants to go beyond the customary stakeholder and user requirements and into their psyche…

“What an interesting way of delivery using a fairy tale to link work life scenarios!”
Vincnesh Dhanapal, Senior Executive, National Council of Social Service

We customise learning activities to allow participants to understand the use of empathy, observation and insights to understand customer needs.

Analysis versus Synthesis

Design Thinking approaches a problem in a wholistic manner and with the end goal in mind. At our design thinking workshops, participants can learn how to phase problems into different segments and learn how to solve these through cycles of analysis and synthesis until a final satisfactory result is achieved.

“Lots of hauls from concept to application and good sharing sessions…”

Dennis Cheong Kum Whye, Centre Manager, CapitaMalls Asia Limited

Analysis and Synthesis take turn in problem solving through multiple iterations of breaking down a problem into component parts and the putting together of a solution.

Divergence versus Convergence

In any problem solving situation involving many people, multiple disciplines and different professions, there will be differences in views and opinions.  Learn how to recognise the creative power of divergent thinking to harness ideas and how to use convergent thinking to sieve out the solution at the workshop!

“The workshop taught me how to break down a problem and gave me means to generate new ideas!

Claudia See Wei Ling, Senior Executive, Civil Service College

Divergent thinking and convergent thinking take turns in problem solving through multiple iterations of ideas generation and solution selection.
